Frequently Asked Questions

What has changed due to Covid-19?

We ask everyone who is able to wear a mask on entering the premises. All of our therapists are wearing PPE as required by their regulatory bodies and the nature of their work (for physiotherapy, this includes mask, aprons & gloves – but is subject to change as official guidelines are adapted).  All high touch surfaces & items of equipment are disinfected and rooms ventilated between each patient visit.

All payments can be made by contactless methods including cards or bank transfers.

We ask that patients call ahead to cancel their appt if they develop any symptoms such as high temperature, dry cough, loss of taste or smell or generally feel unwell. There is no charge for rescheduling under these circumstances.

We are also able to offer virtual physiotherapy assessments if required, using a simple, secure video link app (similar to ZOOM)

How long does an appointment take?

This varies a little depending upon the reason for your booking. As a general rule, allow 45-50 for your first physiotherapy session, 30-45 mins for follow up visits.

Do I need to be referred to the clinic by my doctor?

Not usually, although this is usually required if you want to claim your fees back through a medical insurance company.

Do you do home visits?

We are able to offer home visits for those with neurological conditions, those with dementia and the elderly. Visits can be arranged for these conditions at your own home or at a nursing home. Please call us for details – 07496 401011

Do you accept credit cards?

Yes, we currently accept Visa and MasterCard.

What are your fees?

Physiotherapy assessments & standard follow up appointments are £50.00 regardless of duration (online or in clinic).

Physiotherapy Home Visits can be arranged within Brightlingsea. These are £85 for the initial assessment and £65 for follow up visits.
